The research of this group is organized around the central theme of conformal invariance. We are interested in Conformal Field Theory in particular logarithmic conformal field theory, the AdS/CFT correspondence and non relativistic conformal field theory. We are also interested in critical phenomena , including non-equilibrium systems such as the KPZ equation. In particular we are looking at the application of Schram-Loewner Evolution (SLE) to the analysis of surface growth.
