Conference Program

Scientific program:

The program of IICQI

The conference proceedings

The conference comprises invited and contributed talks and a poster session. All talks will be in the Kish University Lecture Hall. Transportation will be provided by the conference between the Lecture Hall, hotels, and other places for the duration of the conference. Presenters are requested to provide slides of their talk (in pdf or powerpoint formats) before or immediately after their presentation so that these talks can be posted on the conference website for the benefit of conference participants. Slides can be emailed to vahid_AT_sharif.edu, arezakhani_AT_qis.ucalgary.ca, or iicqi_AT_physics.sharif.ir (_AT_ =@).

There will be a banquet on 9 September, hosted by Kish Free Zone Organization (one of our sponsors). More information will soon be posted about this event.

The conference will organize an excursion in the Kish Island for all participants. In addition, a mainland tour (after the conference) is arranged for whom interested. This includes a tour to ancient sites of Persepolis, Shiraz, and Isfahan (more useful links can be found in Venue page). The program is as follows:

1- departing from Kish to Isfahan in the evening of September 10,
2- one-day tour in Isfahan (staying in Hotel Abbasi),
3- departing from Isfahan to Shiraz on September 11,
4- two-day tour in Shiraz (staying in Hotel Homa),
5- departing from Shiraz to Kish in the evening of September 14.

The fee for this tour is 430 USD (payable in cash in Kish, before the excursion). This includes: i) application charge for a 72-hours visa to visit the mainland Iran, ii) air ticket for Kish - Shiraz - Isfahan - Shiraz - Kish, iii) 3-night hotel room in Shiraz and Isfahan, iv) meal, and v) other tour charges. To be able to make advance arrangements for interested participants, we need to have their completed visa information form (also already sent to such participants through email) before they finalize their registration, plus, scan of the first page of their passport (if you are not Iranian).
