Light by Light Scattering as a Probe for Axion Dark Matter

Abstract: The nature of dark matter (DM) particle is unknown. A sufficiently light axion represents an excellent DM candidate. Research into the detectability of axion DM has recently revealed a vast numbers of promising experimental designs. In this talk first I will review the current situation of the experimental developments in this field.  Second I will introduce a new way to probe Axion Like Particles based on polarimetry, my strategy is based on measuring the ellipticity signal induced by virtual axions in current/future laser-laser collision experiments.  Finally I will compare my expected results with the current experiments.
