MHD simulation of interaction between matter and electromagnetic field in the interstellar medium 

 Abstract: The interstellar medium is matter and radiation that exists in the space between the stars of a galaxy and consists of different phases with different temperatures and densities. The interstellar matter is generally composed of neutral and ionized particles whose interaction with the electromagnetic field can be studied and simulated in the MagnetoHydroDynamics approximation. In this talk, the simulation of this interaction is investigated using the pencil code, a high-order finite-difference code for compressible MHD, in a box with specific initial conditions and boundary conditions along with the explosion of a supernova.
