Mimetic Cosmology

Abstract: The so-called mimetic gravitational model has been recently suggested by  Chamseddine and Mukhanov. In this talk, we will first introduce the model and some of its interesting cosmological features. We will then show that the model suffers from ghost instability and/or gradient instability at the level of perturbations. In the rest of the talk, we will discuss how a mimetic model with healthy perturbations can be achieved.
