سمینار این هفته را آقای دکتر فرهنگ حبیبی از موسسه اخترفیزیک پاریس  (IAP) ارائه خواهند کرد. عنوان و چکیدهٔ سمینار ایشان به شرح زیر است:

اثر ساختارهای کیهانی بر درخشندگی ابرنواخترها

 (Effects of the cosmic structures on SNe luminosity)

Abstract: At high-z, the Universe can be assumed to be homogeneous and isotropic. This assumption is no more held at distances of a few hundred Mega parsecs. At such distances, the Universe consists of clumps of galaxy clusters, galaxy groups and voids. Considering the super novae Ia as standard candles, their distance moduli deviate from what we expect to observe in the homogeneous universe. This deviation is induced by the presence of the cosmic structures. We will quantify this deviation and observationally test what the LambdaCDM model predicts for it.
