Homework -1: Provide a home-made setup for the SIPHON experiment, change the “h” value at least for 4 data points and measure the time and the speed of water for each (same as table #2). Plot your data and measure “g” in your experiment (just for one tube). Please send us images of your setup, a table including measured values, and the plot along with calculated “g”.
Homework -2: Please refer to the page: http://physics.sharif.edu/~physics_lab3/files/introduction-to-surface-tension-instruction.pdf and select two qualitative experiments, do them and send us images/videos of your setup as well as a brief description about why you observe that.
Homework -3: Please provide 3 examples of applying “superhydrophil” and “superhydrophobe” surfaces. Send us a brief description of each item and suitable videos/pictures.
Homework -4: Please provide 2 applications of Doppler effect in science (like astronomy or medicine or spectroscopy techniques and so on). Send us a brief description of each item and suitable videos/pictures.
