Probing the vacuum structure from astrophysical objects to ground based laboratories

Abstract: In this talk, first we consider light polarization as a useful probe for the QED vacuum structure when exposed to intense light or strong field. We will show that natural extreme regimes of strong magnetic field associated with pulsars provide wide opportunities to investigate nonlinear effects of electrodynamics in vacuum. Moreover we report our results about using high-intensity laser facilities in order to examine QED effects in the ground-based laser experiments. Besides, we will show that it is possible to trace out strong-field QED processes by using Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) spectral analysis.
