سمینارهای این هفته را خانم فاطمه باقری و آقای عرفان اسمعیلی از دانشگاه صنعتی شریف ارائه  خواهند کرد. عنوان و چکیدهٔ سمینار ایشان به شرح زیر است:

 (Black holes with NUT charge)

Abstract of Seminar 1: What dark matter exactly is, is one of the most important problems in cosmology. In recent years some theories such as Modify Gravity have tried to explain dark matter. We consider Mashhonian non local gravity and compare its predictions with observational data of rotation curves of galaxies and strong gravitational lensing (CASTLEs). In this talk, at first (upcoming Sunday) I will review the theory of nonlocal gravity. On next Sunday I will investigate the results.   

Abstract of Seminar 2:  NUT black holes are special spacetimes with some weird properties. They are characterized by a parameter-NUT charge- which is interpreted is “the magnetic mass”. Further, they admit special kinds of singularities and asymptotic behavior. In the talk, a couple of such black holes are discussed in pure analytic approach.
